From the Article Statistics Reports, the Articles Approved During Review of Abstract is not working correctly. To clarify this report is intended to count the summary topics that the board managers have approved when they review the abstracts published to their queue.
In comparing the same report generated in EBMS4 and in Prod, I am noticing some of the numbers do not match to Prod. Below is an example:
When generating the Articles Approved During Review of Abstract report using board = IACT, topic = Prostate Cancer Nutrition and Dietary Supplements, review cycle = sept 2022, the report indicates that there 2 citations approved.
However, using the import report and article search, we know that there were 8 citations in the text file for this topic, but only 3 of which were imported. None of the 3 were approved by Robin Baldwin. See citation data for these 3 citations below:
35996318 – imported new (prostate nut diet suppl topic accepted by Jeff, published and then rejected in abstract review by Robin Baldwin
36000402 – imported new (excluded by not journal list for IACT board)
35982094 – imported topic added (prostate nut diet suppl topic rejected by Jeff and therefore not published for further review, other topic was for nutrition in cancer care but NOT journal list excluded for supp care board)
So only one of the 3 citations was even published and reviewed by Robin and that one she rejected. The report should not list any citations as approved (as it does on PROD).
I believe I have beaten this one into submission. The numbers on https://ebms.rksystems.com now match what we see on PROD. Please take it out for another spin.
OK you are on a roll. This looks good on erc. The sept 2022 numbers for IACT match what's in Prod. I also looked at other boards data for sept 2022 and those numbers matched as well. I found 1 exception but an understandable one due to a current decision that was made in prod that was not in the db at the time of the data refresh.
I just realized the exception citation I mentioned above is the same citation you identified in ticket 695 🙂
