Please remove the "Diagnosis" and "Intervention" Summary section metadata elements from the template. We'd like to keep the "SectionType" element as a reminder to add the "Changes to Summary" type for the changes section.
Changes installed on CDR DEV.
modified: XMetaL/Rules/Summary.ctm
modified: XMetaL/Template/Cdr/PatientSVPCSummary.xml

None of the summary templates had Intervention
in the
metadata.

Oops! Sorry, ~bkline , I hadn't seen that you already made the changes.
Please feel free to grab the ticket back from me.
I'd like to mention that the templates include a lot of sections with section names that are not the two we had identified that are used by the filters:
Introductory Text
Changes to summary
The following are all section type values that are used as part of the templates:
Cancer description
Classification by stage
Clinical description
Current clinical trials
Diagnostic tests
Genetic aspects
Incidence
Organ description
Post-treatment considerations
Prevention methods
Prognostic factors
Rationale for prevention
Resources
Risk factors
Standard treatment
Symptoms
Treatment in clinical trials
Treatment options by stage
I am wondering if these types should all be removed from the templates if they aren't used for anything. If the users delete of of these entries we should remove them from the templates.
I asked CIAT users about this, and some of the section names used on a regular basis are the two already identified and the following.
Current clinical trials
Treatment options by stage
Treatment options
Classification by stage
However, since these are not used for publishing, it should be OK to remove them from the default template as we discuss whether it is necessary to continue to use them in summaries, if they are being used for anything else.
The following templates have been updated to remove the Section type except for "Introduction" and "Changes to this Summary".
modified: Template/Cdr/PatientPreventionSummary.xml
modified: Template/Cdr/PatientPreventionSummaryES.xml
modified: Template/Cdr/PatientScreeningSummary.xml
modified: Template/Cdr/PatientScreeningSummaryES.xml
modified: Template/Cdr/PatientSummary.xml
modified: Template/Cdr/SpanishPatientSummary.xml
This is ready for review on DEV.
It's looking like the changes have been wiped out. I am seeing all these options still available in either a new summary or an existing summary.
That is correct! This ticket is for a change of the templates. If you want to change the list of values that would require a schema change.
The task was to remove the SectionType values from the templates.
As discussed in the CDR/EBMS meeting today, please remove the SectMetadata block from the default template except for the two cases where they are needed in the filters. Thanks!
The following templates have been updated to completely remove the section meta data piece:
modified: PatientPreventionSummary.xml
modified: PatientPreventionSummaryES.xml
modified: PatientSVPCSummary.xml
modified: PatientScreeningSummary.xml
modified: PatientScreeningSummaryES.xml
modified: PatientSummary.xml
modified: SpanishPatientSVPCSummary.xml
modified: SpanishPatientSummary.xml
modified: Summary.xml
