This ticket is to test the left navigation display of PDQ summaries that live deeper within the information architecture.
On a test environment, please create a new PDQ summary:
URL: /types/kidney/patient/kidney-genetics-pdq/test-pdq
Title: PDQ Navigation Test
For any required description fields: PDQ Navigation Test [field name] (e.g., for Meta Description, this would be: PDQ Navigation Test Meta Description)
Once the summary has been created and published to a test environment (not to prod!
~buracklb Does it have
to be that exact URL? I can't make the new one publishable because it
runs up against a uniqueness requirement for the SummaryURL
element, as there's already a summary with that URL.
~bkline - there's a summary with the URL /types/kidney/patient/kidney-genetics-pdq (https://www.cancer.gov/types/kidney/patient/kidney-genetics-pdq), but there shouldn't be a summary one level deeper in the architecture....
We just need to test that we can add one more level down from
/types/kidney/patient/kidney-genetics-pdq so
/[pretty-url]
, where [pretty-url] can be anything that's
lowercase and uses hyphens between words.
My mistake. 😛
I had put the pretty URL in the text content for the element instead
of the cdr:xref
attribute on the element. All better
now.

Woohoo! Thanks, ~bkline!
The left navigation is appearing as expecting. This test was a SUCCESS! Thank you for helping with this so quickly. We can close this ticket out.
Cool! I like success. ✔
