I'm receiving an error message when attempting to import PMID: 30676117.
The message reads:
unable to parse document from NLM
Investigating now. The error message is a little misleading, I think: it looks like we're unable to retrieve anything to parse in the first place. 😛
I filed a ticket with the NLM support center, and reported the problem directly to Nick Ide, who has been our main contact there over the years. Got an automated confirmation of the ticket submission, as well as an out-of-office reply from Nick's email account, saying he's out until Monday. Will keep you posted.
Thanks, Bob. I hate to bother you with this on your vacation!
Adding William.
Found someone at NLM (wasn't easy). Problem has been fixed.
Wow! Thank you!! I have to say, I wasn't expecting this to be fixed so quickly! This is great. I just imported the citation above. 🙂
Hey, it was marked Critical
, right?
This is true (it's board meeting prep time for all of us so heavy on the citation side of things!), but it seemed out of our control. Thanks for tracking it down.
Unfortunately, this issue is back. I just received the same error message as above when trying to import PMID: 30167906.
From John Gillen at NLM:
The last 502 status was returned at 9:12 AM EDT.
Please try again.
This is working. Thanks! Hopefully they found a permanent fix.
