Bonnie is getting the attached error message periodically when she tries to save a new supplementary document. She is unable to save the document.
I've talked to Bonnie. She will try to grab me next time this happens and/or write down the time when this happens so we may search the log files for errors.
I was able to reproduce this error on DEV by opening a PDF file (to read) and attempted to attach it to a new supplementary info. document in the CDR (while the PDF file was still open).
After closing the PDF file, I was able to attach it to the CDR document without any error. The CDR ID of the test document is (CDR0000759322) on DEV.

I have found a way to avoid this problem. I'll put it on DEV so you can test, and if your testing is successful, we can fold this into 3.3.
Fixed on DEV. I changed two things:
Removed the requirement that the DLL have exclusive access to the file.
Added a check with a non-empty error message if the file open operation fails for some other reason.
Please test.
It worked. I didn't get any error message even with the document open.
I couldn't test this with a .pdf file since adobe reader isn't installed on Stage. But I tested with MS word and there were no errors.
Verified on PROD.
