Ashleigh, since you have received the previous (and this) email you now have a Bugzilla account. Your account name is you NIH email address and I'll send you the password shortly.
Bugzilla will send you emails every time an issue with your account
on either as a reporter, QA person, CC, or assignee has changed. You can
change what types of emails you want to receive or turn off Bugzilla
emails completely, if you'd like.
However, it is very important that you do not reply to
those emails!
To continue the discussion about a particular issue please do the
following:
a) Go to the address
http://verdi.nci.nih.gov/tracker/
find the particular issue and enter a comment or
b) Click the link at the top of the email to go directly to your
issue.
Please note, you will only have to log in once per system and browser. Once you logged in to Bugzilla your username/password will be saved in a cookie and you won't have to log in again unless you've actively logged off or removed the cookie.

I've attached two documents for you, Ashleigh, that do explain the
general idea of a Bug life cycle within Bugzilla.
These documents are pretty dated but are still generally correct and
should give you a good overview of how we're using the system. I believe
the names for a statuses have changed over time.
Again, let me know if you have any questions or problems with Bugzilla.

Changing status from New to Assigned.
I could have done this while changing the last comment but this bug is supposed to teach you.
