In order to add the new HP Summary section called About This PDQ Summary, we need to make some changes to the Organization schema in the PDQBoardInformation block:
1. Add element called "ShowReviewerInfo" with a Y/N list of values.
Singly occuring, required.
2. Add element called "LOESummary", which will be a link to the LOE
summary for each Board. Singly occurring, required.

You probably didn't mean to target this for version 2.0 of the CDR (which would mean it would be done if and when we port the CDR to .NET).

Nope, I sure didn't. I must have rolled over that element some how when I selected the component.

Had we talked about making that an attribute?

Margaret and I discussed this and decided to go with a YesNo element for ShowReviewerInfo. Installed on Mahler; ready for user testing.

The elements look fine in the schema but I wasn't able to test adding them to a document because of permissions issues on Mahler.

I was able to add the ShowReviewer element and the LOESummary element. I could not create the link because the linking table needs to be updated to allow a link from the Org record to a summary. Also, we need to get the CSS fixed so I will put in a separate issue.
I was wondering if there was any way to have these two elements show up above the list of Board Meetings so they are closer to the other information about the Board?

Your new power as a CDR manager allows you to take care of this. Under Systems Administrators / Manage Linking Tables select "Summary" and add a new row giving Organization as the documentation type and LOESummary as the linking element (the right-hand column).

You have the Organization schema document checked out on Mahler. As soon as you check it back in I'll install a version with the new elements moved up.

The schema is checked in. I will update the linking table now.

I updated the linking table and successfully added the link to the LOE summary. I will try again with both elements after the order has been adjusted.

I successfully added LOESummary and ShowReviewerInfo to the Genetics Board. So this is ready to be promoted when we promote other related issues.

It just occurred to me that by making these elements required we will have to put them in the Advisory Board records, which really doesn't make sense. I think we ought to change them to not be required. Since there are only 6 records that will have them and they don't change very often it should be easy to make sure they are correct.

Were you just referring to the LOESummary elements? Or did you also want to make the new attribute optional as well?

I was just talking about LOESummary and ShowReviewerInfo. Which attribute are you referring to?

Sorry, I must have been thinking about verbal discussions about making ShowReviewerInfo an attribute (which didn't happen). Both elements are now optional on Mahler.

Since these are now optional, I think we can go ahead and promote them to Bach so we can get the data entered for them. This won't interfere with anything else will it?

Promoted to Bach; please check (and close if OK).

The elements looks good and I was able to add them both to a PDQ Board org record.
The linking table needs to be updated to allow a link from the org record to a summary in order to fill in the LOESummary link. William--can you do this?
Under Systems Administrators / Manage Linking Tables select "Summary" and add a new row giving Organization as the documentation type and LOESummary as the linking element (the right-hand column).

I successfully added these two elements to the Adult Treatment Editorial Board record. I am closing the issue.
