Description

TIR #2305 entered 2013-01-15 by Minaxi Trivedi

(Extracted from TIR #2171, which included lots of separate issues)

The display option on the search the database screen allowing users (me) to display only citations in their que is not there. I really hope this in not one of those features that got pushed to another phase because it is pretty important for Minaxi and myself as it will hinder my review process significantly.

Laura: Alan responded to this, noting that the functionality referred to here is handled elsewhere (on the librarian's landing page, where her queue is presented). I haven't found a reply from Minaxi indicating whether she agreed. I'm passing this on to you so you can close the loop with the users about the status of this request.

Still waiting for followup response to Alan's assessment.

Minaxi and I are wanting to be able to search our queue with more variables then are currently available on the librarian's landing page where our queue is presented. Rather than ading a bunch of search features on the librarian's landing page, it was decided during our design meetings that an option on the search the database screen (under display options)would be added where search results could be limited to items in the librarian queue aka citations awaiting med librarian review. So the same functionality that is limiting citations on the librarians queue would be used for this option.

Cynthia and Minaxi reviewed this issue and provided the following comment:

This issue was originally reported as a means to increase flexibility and efficiency of the medical librarian’s review. This issue has been partially resolved with recent changes made to the medical librarian’s queue page. Eventually we would like to add searching by title words but this is not a priority.

---
Based on this, I (Robin) am going to close this issue and open a new lower-priority ticket to add searching by title words.
