Description

As a CDR Media doc editor, I would want to be able to add the new “Requested By” element to a Media so that XMetal can display the value selected.

We added a new element called “Requested By” to the “Proposed Use” block of the Media schema.  Please modify the XMetal CSS so that the element and values are displayed correctly (OCECDR-5024).

Acceptance criteria

Scenario: XMetal has the ability to add the new “Requested By” element with the list of values.

Given that I am a CDR Media document editor

And I have permission to create or edit Media documents

When I create a new Media document or edit an existing one

And I add the new “Requested By” element in the Proposed Use block

And I select one of the values from the list

Then XMetal should display the element and value consistent with the display of other elements

The element does not include the instructional information in curly brackets but this is trivial so I will create a ticket for the next release to include that information for consistency.

This is something that changed with our last upgrade of XMetaL.  The older version always included some default text when a new element was created.  Since the last update you must always create a specific template for each element in order to display that informational text.

It's a quick fix and a perfect item for Pauling. 🙂
