The following DIS, "Mitomycin" CDR0000712481 had a title change in version 2 from "Mitomycin C". The URL continues to retain the old name with a "c" in it on Cancer.gov.
https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/drugs/mitomycinc
Could you please look into this and how we should approach this in the future?
had a title change in version 2 from "Mitomycin C"
I don't think this is correct. The title change was not from "Mitomycin C" but to "Mitomycin C" from the original name "Mitomycin".
Version 10 of the document was published as "Mitomycin C" and its URL reflects that name. Then the name was changed back to "Mitomycin" in V-32 but there was no URL change included with that change and that's how the DIS has been published since April 2020.
Having said that you probably remember that (a) a title change does not automatically update the URL itself, which is maintained manually and (b) a URL change must be coordinated with the digital platform team in order to adjust any menu pages pointing to the document and possibly creating redirects.
Could you please look into this and how we should approach this in the future?
We need to coordinate the menu URL changes and create redirects (if necessary) for the modified URL and then
Run a hot-fix with the URL xref attribute properly modified.
We do coordinate for URL and title changes for CISs but I didn't know we have to do same DISs. Anyway, looking at the URL stored in the summary, it has the "c". I will create a new WCMS ticket for this.
I have opened a new CGOV ticket for this so I am closing this ticket. Thanks!
