The CMS now has endpoints for removing older revisions of PDQ summary content, as well as dropping summary section entities which are orphaned (that is, they have no summary parent node). The CDR publishing software needs to invoke these services at the end of each publishing job, pruning older revisions for the nodes represented by the current publishing job, as well as removing all orphaned summary section entities.
This is working correctly in production.
