We've had a some cases where documents have been blocked accidentally because users checked the "Block Publication of Any Version of This Document" box when either creating a version or in most cases, when trying to make a document publishable. I am wondering if we can make changes to the "Save CDR Document" window so that it is not easy to accidentally block a CDR document.
I assume the easiest option will be to place the "Block Publication of Any Version of This Document" checkbox below the Comment box. Another option could be to have a user confirm the blocking of the document when the box is checked.
We decided in our last status meeting to go with the first option (moving the button) and see how well that addresses the problem.
~oseipokuw is the Ready for First Mailer checkbox still used?
I have rearranged the controls on DEV.
No. That is no longer needed. Please remove it.
I see that you placed the "Block Publication of Any Version of This Document" before the Comment box. I think it can go after the Comment box (especially now that you will be removing the first mailer option) if possible.
Checkbox moved below comment box.
~oseipokuw: What exactly are the problems/what needs to happen with the Week 2020_51 files on PROD?
It is the same problem I reported last Thursday . We have a few documents in the Week_2020_51 batch (on PROD) that were named incorrectly in the archive folder so we couldn't review them successfully as we received error messages when we clicked on the audio in the review report to listen to them. The files have now been corrected and a new archive file generated but I need to be able to test on DEV what impact it will have on importing the files into the CDR. I also needed to find out if the new archive will overwrite the existing file and assess the amount work we need to do manually in order to complete reviewing and importing the files. I was not able to test with the same archive file on DEV so I need to device a new plan to test this.
I'm guessing the above comment was meant for a different ticket or is it indeed related to the moving of the "Block Document" checkbox?
It was meant for a different ticket, sorry.
Verified on DEV. Thanks!
Verified on QA. Thanks!
Verified on PROD. Thanks!
