Description

SummaryRefs to other summaries and SummaryFragmentRefs pointing to a section of another summary are bringing up 502 error messages. I don't know if this is a new problem.

SummaryFragmentRefs pointing to other locations within the same document are working as expected.

Adding William.

Here's the text of the error message. CDR552637 (Genetics of Skin Cancer) contains SummaryRefs and SummaryFragmentRefs (both internal and external) if you need a document to test with.

502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.

There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.

Some questions.

  1. It works on other tiers?

  2. Has there been a recent filter change for these elements that I might not be aware of (because Volker would have done the work)? If so, how extensive was the testing?

  3. Can you give me precise instructions for triggering the failure?

Thanks.

1. It does not work on QA either. I haven't checked Stage or Dev yet.

2. Please see my comment below.

3. From the Admin Menu... OCC Board Managers>Publish Preview Report. Enter CDR552637 and press submit. Search text for "refer to" phrase and you'll encounter several different links (summary refs and summary fragment refs). It should be clear from the surrounding text whether the link is pointing to another summary.

I think this can wait until Volker gets back. I honestly don't know if this is a known issue or if it is a new problem. We can test these links in the QC reports so we can get by for now.

Try it on DEV or QA. This was a holdover from when I was asked to keep both the old and the new versions of publish preview available (so, it's been broken since the new CMS went live).

Please test on STAGE and PROD. If it looks OK you can close this ticket.
