The glossary publishing filters report an error when a MediaLink is processed as a shared link and a split (for both languages) link. The error message "Error: Invalid use of MediaLink." is displayed but publishing continues for this document.
We want to either eliminate the error message or fail publishing of the document.
In addition, the rule currently reports the error if an image is listed both ways - shared and split - within a document regardless if the images are identical or not.
The error was discovered in this publishing job:
https://cdr.cancer.gov/cgi-bin/cdr/PubStatus.py?id=14345&type=FilterFailure
Since both, the MediaLink and the EmbeddedVideo link are behaving similarly, this issue has been resolved as part of the Einstein release.
So can we close the ticket?
~oseipokuw will take a look at this issue on PROD.
How does it look, ~oseipokuw?
I am not sure how to test this one. The original error appears to be reported by the publishing filters. It doesn't look like it is an error that a user would see.
The error was discovered January 27th. The problem was fixed on or before March 3rd.
I see two concept documents with a shared MediaLink,
CDR621287 (GTN = CDR45313 - inflammatory breast cancer)
CDR621655 (GTN = CDR45821 - peau d'orange)
Both of these documents where successfully published with Job14576 on
2017-05-01.
I guess we can close the ticket.
