Please modify the BU and RLSO report interfaces to include the option to select the addition of comments in table cells or not to the reports. The default behavior should be to exclude the comments in table cells.
I am wondering why we are planning to treat comments within tables differently from all other comments? We're already using multiple angles for looking at comments: internal vs external, editorial vs advisory, permanent vs non-permanent. It sounds like we're now planning to introduce display of comments based on the element container: table cells, maybe lists, captions, etc.?
Is it not possible to use the currently used selection for comments? I'm mentioning this because I remember it wasn't trivial to come up with the currently used display and it will not be simple to add another dimension to this.
Adding ~juther as a watcher to be part of this discussion.
I'd prefer to treat comments in table cells the same way that we treat other comments in the summaries - I agree, the rules are complicated enough as it is!
That's fine. I will close this ticket. I didn't realize it was that complicated.
