Victoria ran a couple of Windows updates on her computer on Tuesday evening (7/19) and again on Wednesday (7/20/16). After each update, she encountered a loop of error messages when she tried to get into the CDR. I will paste a screenshot of the three messages, which came up in the following order: (1) "The feature you are trying to use..."; (2) "The path..."; and (3) "Error...", after which she received message #1 again. This cycle continued a few times before ultimately letting her into the CDR. Once she got in the CDR, it seemed to be working fine, but we thought it was worth reporting this string of error messages.
The best course of action would probably be to open a desktop support ticket. As noted in OCECDR-4146 (which appears to be a duplicate of this ticket):
Here's a link to a page which suggests the problem may be related to corruption of the Windows installer database.

This may be helpful for the support staff who respond to any tickets she opens for the problem.
