Last week (7/13/16), while running the "Audio Request Spreadsheet"
report to retrieve the spreadsheet, the Excel file was successfully
generated but IE crashed and the file was not automatically saved on the
local computer (download folder). So, I was not able to save the file
before it disappeared.
Using an ad hoc query, I was able to re-create the file. Going forward
however, it would be helpful to be able to either run the report again
to generate the missing file, or if possible, whenever the files are
generated successfully copies should be stored on the server for easy
retrieval in cases when they fail to save on the local computer.
Modified title to correctly reflect what going to change.
We'll need to do this as part of the next release, since deployment involves CBIIT.
Ready for user testing on DEV.
Verified this on DEV. I am able to get a copy of the spreadsheet after running the report. I have a two of questions.
1. In case my browser crashes, how do I access the stored copy?
2. I was able to run the report but no documents were picked up even
though there are at least 3 documents that should have been picked
up.
Your browser is very unlikely to crash between the time the spreadsheet is successfully stored and the URL is sent to your browser (much less likely than when the whole workbook was being sent to your browser), but if that ever happens, let us know when it did and we'll get you the URL.
Which three documents should have been picked up?
Here are the three documents.
CDR0000779347
CDR0000779351
CDR0000779349
None of those are in the pub_proc_cg table, so they're not picked up.
pub_proc_cg contains documents that have been published to Cancer.gov, right?
Right. That's a requirement for being picked up for the spreadsheet.
Okay. Thanks!
Verified on QA.
