The table of contents and right (section) nav are currently missing from publish preview of summaries on prod. This was working on Friday so it appears to be caused by something that came after the security remediation release.
The full summary does display, but it is difficult to QC without the benefit of TOC/section links to bring you to the appropriate place in the document.
Adding William.
This will need to be resolved by CBIIT. Adding related WEBTEAM ticket.
Volker, have you received any updates from CBIIT on this issue? Val was just asking me about it. Thanks.
I'm guessing we're talking about PROD. Is it not working? This is a
'works-for-me' issue.
It is possible that Val's workstation/laptop isn't setup to run
JavaScript in IE. JS is currently not working on the
other tiers:
DEV will not work until after the DEV migration
QA is not working due to Bryan prototyping something
STAGE is not working due to 'self-closing script tags'
This is now working for Val, but I'm still not seeing the TOC or right-nav...would you be able to show me how to activate Java in IE on my computer when you get a chance or should I put in a help desk ticket for that? thanks.
I've tested PP on all tiers and it's working for me.
Robin, you had one summary, CDR517309 – Cancer Genetics
Overview, which didn't work for you on PROD.
We know that JavaScript is working for you, so could you please
double-check if you're still having trouble with any of the tiers or
documents?
I will have to run a test on Robin's machine as I'm unable to reproduce the problem on my own machine (using IE 10).
I've checked again on my machine running the PP for this document. I'm able to run the report with all three browsers: IE, Firefox, and Chrome. When looking at the console output I see IE reporting a problem of an "unmatched end-tag". However, the end-tag reported missing - the figure caption of the first image - exists. This appears to be a false error message. I'm wondering if it's possible that the lengthy caption that's repeated for the title as well as the Alt-text of the image element might trip up the browser due to a character length limitation. This could also be a IE11 bug.
Robin, maybe you could try to shorten the caption entry as a test and rerun the PP report? I'm not sure what else to do.
This just worked for me in IE twice in a row without any changes to the caption. I guess we cross our fingers that it is now resolved?
Diana is having a similar problem with PP of two of the patient summaries - Bladder Cancer Treatment (CDR0000062705) and Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors Treatment (CDR0000062678). The first section of each summary is displaying along with the right section nav, but the full summary won't display when she clicks on view all sections, it won’t advance to next section from bottom of page, and it won’t go to a different section if she clicks on it in the right nav. She is using IE9. She copied and pasted the URL into Chrome and it worked fine.
It is working for me. I'll check with Diana tomorrow to find out if this is just an IE9 problem.

Volker will check with Diana to see if the problem persists.
Diana reported that the PP report problems don't exists anymore for her.
I will close this ticket.
