CIAT has been asked to change references of the words "Web site" to a single word "website" in all HP summaries. However on Cancer.gov, many of these references are in the wording that goes with the clinical trials search strings, which I believe is maintained in the publishing filters and may need to be updated in the filters. I did check and there are a couple of clinical search strings misc. docs but I didn't see the sample wording below in any of them.
Current Clinical Trials
Check NCI’s list of cancer clinical trials for cancer CAM clinical
trials on acupuncture therapy, acupuncture-like transcutaneous
electrical nerve stimulation, electroacupuncture therapy and acupressure
therapy that are actively enrolling patients.
General information about clinical trials is also available from the NCI
Web site.
Could you please give me an example? I've searched through the
filters but this text string is not part of them so it must be coming
from some other place.
I'll investigate where that place is once I have a sample I can look
at.
If I remember correctly, this is coming from a miscellaneous doc. We changed a couple of years ago so that all of the clinical trials wording that gets inserted into the summaries is in a misc. doc instead of the vendor filter.
That is right. It is coming from misc. docs. I initially looked at the clinical search string documents instead of the right misc. docs. Thank you!!
