CDR Tickets

Margaret mentioned this issue in our last meeting. I tried all the suggestions that were made but that did not resolve the problem. Below is my email to Volker and his response. I have also attached the referenced file.

Both of the lists are ordered lists and by default an ordered list is displayed with Arabic numbers. The nested list has a list-style type of “lower-alpha” and it appears that Word is not understanding this list style. This is probably a bug in Word. You might try and see what happens if you’d copy/paste this into a different editor (Libre Office). If it’s a Word bug we could try if it’s possible to adjust the PP to adjust the CSS or the lists but that may or may not work. Also, if we’re modifying the PP report please keep in mind that it won’t have an effect on anything you’re copying/pasting from Cancer.gov.

Please go ahead and create a ticket if you think it’s worth pursuing and we can discuss next Thursday.

Hi Volker,
When we copy can you take a look at the attached PP copy of 762295. When the document is copied or when we use edit with Word to create a word document. The list items under the Glioblastomas Treatment is messed up. For example the sub bullets that are supposed to be a. and b. are changed into 1. And 2. And it doesn't matter which browser you use. We spoke about this briefly in the CDR meeting last week.
