I'd like to create a spreadsheet of S&P articles that are currently in the Abstract queue without a decision from review cycles October 2023 or earlier.
Please include the following information in the report:
Article Information - first 5 lines of the bibliographic information on the Full Citation page (with link to Full Citation page from article title)
Review Cycle
Import Date (for the initial import into the EBMS)
Summary Topic(s) - showing S&P topics only - all topics can live in a single cell either on separate lines within the cell or with a comma between them (whatever is easiest)
Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you!
Screening and Prevention or Supportive and Palliative care?
Or both?
Screening and Prevention. Thank you!
I tried linking from the article titles to the full article pages, but Excel complained that the resulting workbook was corrupted (though it wouldn't say why it thought so). So I moved the link to the EBMS ID column's cells, and Excel was happy.
Hi ~bkline - I'm finally getting back to this report in the parking lot. I'd like to add a new state of "No further action" to the listed summary topics that are associated with each of these articles, thereby removing them from the review queue. We had previously discussed doing this manually (and Bonnie is happy to help) but given that there are >1500 articles I wanted to see what would be involved to do this programmatically. Can we discuss on Thursday? thanks.
Script tested on QA (refreshed from PROD). For example:
Attached log from test run on QA. Note that there are only 1,334 entries in the log, compared to the 1,502 states reported in the Excel workbook (these are counts of article topic states, not articles—some articles have multiple topics matching the query). I presume this is because users have added different states to some of the article/topic combinations since the report was originally generated.
Hi ~bkline - this looks great to me. I spot checked several articles on QA. I could be missing it, but I don't see the log file? Could you please try reposting that or putting the link directly in a comment? Thanks!
Not sure what happened: either I thought I had attached it when I hadn't, or I did attach it but JIRA tossed it. I've tried again. Let me know if you see it now.
I see it now, thanks. Again I spot-checked a few of the articles in the log and all looked fine. Is this next step to run this on PROD?
The script has been run on EBMS PROD. The log file is identical to the one we got from the run on QA. Please review the articles, and if everything looks as it should, you can close the ticket.
