We'd like to make some changes to the Board Manager's Article Review Page (Abstract and Full Text pages):
Under the Filter Options tab, make the Summary Topic box larger so it displays more topics. It currently displays about 4. Could we double that?
We'd also like to be able to choose more than one Review Cycle.
Under the Display Options, can you keep the tab closed unless we open it? It seems to open each time you do a new search.
Thanks!
It would be preferable to have the page behave the same way for the queues, rather than adding lots of twisty little side paths for the logic depending on the first radio button option on the page.
Some changes/updates for this one:
Changes can be made to the Board Manager and Librarian Queue pages (Cynthia is OK with the changes) for the Abstract, Full Text, and On Hold pages. I updated the title to reflect the addition of the Librarian page.
Instead of changing the form so we can review multiple Review Cycles, please change it so we can review a range of review cycles.
Shall we replace the existing Cycle field, keeping the real-estate footprint down?
I would like to keep the current option to filter the queue by a single review cycle.
Could Review Cycle and Review Cycle Range be on the same line like we have done in the Advanced Search?
Installed on DEV.
Looks ok so far but would like to do more testing, however, I am not able to import new citations on dev. I keep getting an error message: "The website encountered an unexpected error. Try again later."
The failure you ran into on DEV is caused by the Drupal bug reported in OCEEBMS-813. I'll let you know when I have a workaround in place.
The Review Cycle and Review Cycle Range features on the queue page both work fine on QA individually, however, users are able to make selections for both features at the same time. Result does not generate an error and seems to default to the single Review Cycle selection if selections are made for both features.
The same is true for the Review Cycle and Review Cycle Range features on the Article Search page.
While testing, I was switching back and forth between these two features which is why I noticed this. Switching between these two features may not be a common user behavior.
This may be something we want to address in the next release under a new ticket.
Regarding the Display Options menu, from testing in QA I have noticed that the Display Options menu stays closed even if the user has made selections.
I believe that's what Victoria asked for. If you and she have a subsequent discussion in which she changes her mind, I'll see what I can do when I'm back from vacation.
I think so too but just wanted to double check.
Verified on PROD.
