We would like to be able to link more than one related citation at a time if possible. It would be good to see what the LOE for this would be. There are often multiple commentaries for a given article, so it necessitates pulling up the related citation page multiple times.
Just so you're aware: you're going to have to do a little bit of training to get the users to understand a subtle nuance this change will introduce. Imagine you're adding relationships for three commentaries, imported as 900001, 900002, and 900003. You will now be able to enter all three in a single action, with the same relationship type and comment applied to all three relationships. However, when you go back to edit a relationship, you're only editing one of those three relationships. Entering multiple EBMS IDs will not be allowed on the editing form, even though it will be allowed on the "add" form. So, for example, there's no "let's change the comment for all of these relationships at once" action available.
Implemented on QA (DEV is broken).
Understood. That makes sense.
Verified on DEV. Thanks!
Verified on QA.
I don't have a good real world example for testing this on PROD so I'm closing this. We'll reopen if there are any problems.
