We would like to add a PMID search box to the banner at the top of every page for internal users. Entering a single PMID would bring up the full citation page for that article if it is in the database.
Implemented on DEV.
I'm experimenting with a hotkey combination to jump to the new quick search box (Alt+Shift+P). Would that be useful?
Yes, if that's relatively easy to implement, I know I for one would use it!
Try it out.
It's not working for me...Alt+Shift+P, right?
That worked in Chrome and Edge, but not Internet Explorer. I've set it up with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P, which looks like it works in all three browsers. Give that a try (after refreshing the page, of course).
Ah, that works. (I'm in Firefox.)
This looks great. We're so excited about this enhancement! Thank you!
