It seems we didn't account for the changes we made to accommodate FYI articles in the print packets software. FYI articles should not have coversheets, or FYI articles need to be clearly identified (possibly on the print report) so that the coversheet can be tossed and the article stamped FYI before the packet is sent. I think the ideal solution would be to do both of these things so they can be cross-checked (and we don't wrongfully assume that the lack of a coversheet is an FYI article when in fact the printer jammed or something).
Enhancement implemented on DEV.
Bonnie and I just ran a print job on DEV for Packet #14834, which contains some FYI articles and some articles for review. None of the article coversheets printed (articles for review should still have coversheets).
We were also unable to open the .html PrintReport file from the .tar file, yet we could view the report when we ran the print packet in the EBMS in report mode. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the file that's being created or with Bonnie's computer, but it is not directly related to this ticket.
We'd need a new ticket for this, because the print job I ran yesterday after making the change included the correct coversheets and report, so I don't think it's related to OCEEBMS-442.
We were testing this using an existing packet. I bet we should have tried with a new packet. I'll create one and give it another shot.
That still didn't work. No coversheets printed. I'll open a new ticket.
Verified on DEV.
Notes for QA testing:
-Select a Board member in order for coversheets to appear.
-Make sure we don't have any other files with the same PrintJob # in the
Downloads folder on Bonnie's computer when we run the EBMS print
job.
Cover sheets (a.k.a. "response sheets") do show up when you pick a reviewer to get them.
Verified on QA.
We have not had an occasion to test this issue on PROD yet (no printed packets since the change went live). We'll reopen it if there are any problems.
