Several Board members have commented that they have a hard time finding links on the meeting agendas. Links are also hard to find on travel pages.
We'd like to revisit the treatment of links to make them more easily recognizable (underlined/underlined and red).
Is the link treatment managed in one place or in several places? If the latter, we may want to just adjust the treatment of links on the WYSIWYG pages since that's where we seem to have the most confusion.
There are so many contexts in which links appear that a single CSS rule will not accomplish what's requested in this ticket without stepping on other display requirements. So we'll need to know exactly which links have to be made more prominent.
We would like any link that is added to the WYSIWYG editor pages to be made more prominent. I believe the WYSIWYG editors are used on the following pages:
1. calendar page for an event.
2. travel pages (directions, local, long-distance)
3. forum pages.
I think I've got this one done (on DEV), without adding underscoring where it's not wanted. Please review thoroughly.
I've noticed something on DEV that I'm thinking could be a side effect of this issue to revisit link treatment. The links to summaries and supporting documents on the summaries pages are larger and bolder than they were before (and larger & bolder than the headings that precede them). I'm attaching a screenshot that compares the appearance of these links on DEV with the same page on QA.
There's also a link on the About page that is much more prominent than before. The link is to the "PDQ® on NCI's Web Site" page.
That was caused by another issue, but good catch. Fixed.
Promoted to QA.
On the home page, please change the calendar box to add underlining to dates that have meetings (on the logged-in user's calendar) and remove the underlining from all other dates. We think this will help to draw attention to meeting dates since they currently seem to be lost. Thanks.
Latest change request implemented on DEV; please review.
