Some (not all) words with accents don't display well in the Spanish spellchecker. Example:
anaplásico
So far, this is the only example I have but there are certainly more that don't display well. Is it possible to find such words in the .dict files?
Could you please attach a screenshot of the Main Word List pop-up window. I would need to know which dictionaries are used in order to replicate the issue. This is mine:
These are the two files. I can play with it a bit to find out exactly which one contains that word.
That's OK. I can take it from here.
~oseipokuw , has this problem always been like this or did the Spanish words used to display correctly until a certain point and what point was that? Upgrade of XMetaL, use of new dictionary, etc.?
The problem existed before the XMetal 17 upgrade. It looks like it has always been this way since we started using this dictionary.
~oseipokuw , please try again. I added a "*.aff" rules file for both Spanish dictionaries in the group drive. For users that copied the dictionary files to their local disk they would need to copy those *.aff files.
Verified. Thanks!
