Description

We would like to assess the impact of changing the title of the  "Changes to This PDQ Summary" section to "Latest Updates to This PDQ Summary". As we discussed in the CDR meeting, this could affect the summary metadata, macros, reports, etc., so we need to have an analysis done to see what other issues need to be created.  Once we decide how to proceed, we would like to do a global change to make this change to all of the summaries, but that may need to be a separate issue.

A quick scan through the repository comes up with the following impact:

  • XMetaL Templates
The Summary templates would need to have the default section title text changed.

  • MS Word Macros
The Summary macros would likely only need to have the text string modified.

  • Vendor Filter CDR157.xml
The summary vendor filter mentions the current text string a few times.  I need to look into the impact of a title change in more detail.

It does not appear that any changes are necessary to the vendor filter provided the SectionType value "Changes to summary" stays the same.

I'm marking this ticket as 'Fixed' for now.  Please let me know if there are additional items that should be researched.

This ticket identified the pieces that may need to be changed due to the change of the Changes Section title. The actual work is being done based on individual tickets.

, you may want to create a placeholder ticket to address modifying the Word macros once the global change modified the summaries in PROD.

I'm closing this ticket.
