As a translator, I want to be able identify comments in a summary that have specifically been left for me so that I can apply it during translation.
Several comments are left in a summary document for both internal and external users. Some of the internal comments are meant specifically for translators. However, it is sometimes difficult to identify the specific translation comments among the other comments within the summary document. We would want to be able mark a comment that has specifically been left for translators and have the color be different from the rest of the comments in a summary. The schema change is being done in OCECDR-5142
Acceptance criteria:
Scenario: CDR has the ability to mark comments specifically for translation
Given I am a CDR summary editor
And I have permissions to create or modify summaries
When create or modify a summary that needs to be translated
And I add a comment for translators
Then I want the comment to display in a different color than the other comments within the summary
Would you prefer a color for the translator's comments that is dramatically different from the current green or just a different (but very noticable) shade of green? I'm thinking of the color lightseagreen.
It's also possible to leave the green background and just change the color of the Comment tags if the translators work exclusively in tags-on mode.
We prefer a dramatically different color. Thanks!
I modified the CSS on DEV. Please take a look and let me know if you feel that this color isn't dramatic enough. I also modified the content string before the comment from "Comment" to "Comment-Translators" and from "Internal" to "Internal-Translators" after the comment.
Verified. Looks good! Thanks!
The XMetaL CSS file has been modified to distinguish specific translator comments:
Hi ~volker Could you please check to see if the changes are still on DEV? I don't seem to see the changes anymore when I add a comment for translators. I think it used to show a different color and the text displayed that it was for translators.
No, the changes for this ticket are not on DEV anymore. The changes on DEV currently reflect updates to the Special Consideration Section. Those have overtaken (i.e. reverted) the translator changes which you had reviewed back in October.
OK. Marking as DEV Verified.
Verified on QA. Thanks!
Verified on PROD. Thanks!
