When text within the definition text of glossary terms (GTCs) are marked up with the following elements, they have no effect on how they are displayed in Pup Preview and on Cancer.gov. Please look into this and make appropriate changes. We discussed part of this in OCECDR-4559.

I've made changes to the following filter to allow markup in glossary definitions:
CDR800355.xml - Filter title: Index Glossary Dictionary
https://github.com/NCIOCPL/cdr-server/commit/c357791
This is a change in the filter process that creates the glossary terms as part of the nightly ElasticSearch load and is then picked up by the glossary API. Unfortunately, in "normal" operation the API on all tiers is pointing to the ElasticSearch data on PROD which means we can't simply test the changes. I've therefore taken a screenshot of the changes while I was testing.
Verified the screenshot. Thanks!
Hi ~volker Would you provide a screenshot of this change for me to verify the change on QA?
Did you already prepare a glossary term on QA you'd like me to use?
Here is a screenshot for a glossary definition with markup using PublishPreview:
This ticket appears to be related to OCECDR-4971. I have marked up this GTC CDR0000619355 for testing on QA.
Looks good on QA. Thanks!
Verified on PROD. Thanks!
