~oseipokuw reported
that glossary links for IACT HP summaries, i.e. Acupuncture, aren't
displaying the glossary definition.
Acupuncture
(PDQ®)–Health Professional Version - National Cancer Institute
The term cancer only exists in the dictionary for patients but is marked up in the HP summary for Acupuncture. When a term doesn't exist we have a fallback rule which picks up the patient version of the definition if it exists. This fallback is currently not working.
I created a github ticket to address the problem but I don't know yet if the problem needs to be fixed on the CDR side (Drupal filter change), the digital platform side, or both.
The related github ticket is: https://github.com/NCIOCPL/cgov-digital-platform/issues/3007

~duganal, Sarina identified the problem that's causing the dead glossary links in the IACT HP summaries. It's a quick fix but requires a cgovdigitalplatform release. Is the next cgov-DP release already scheduled and this ticket could be included or should this issue trigger a hot-fix release?
I've added ~mbeckwit as a watcher since she brought up the issue during our meeting today.
The problem has been fixed and tested and a release to update Cancer.gov is scheduled for next week.
The digital platform release fixing this issue has been put in place on Tuesday.
The glossary definitions are now showing for IACT HP summaries.
