Over the weekend the CBIIT storage team changed things around which
caused the FTP processing steps to fail loading the data to the pub
directory for the licensees.
I've noticed the error when I saw that only the data from the week
before was available.
I'm going to write a scheduled job that will test if the current data is available on Monday morning and submit an email to the CBIIT team if something is wrong.
Is this a trivial check? If so, should it go into the upcoming release?
Yes, it's pretty trivial. Just checking for the existence of the file
"changes.YYYYWW"
I may be able to set it up before the release but it's not urgent and
can wait a little longer.
I was unable to write this script because the DEV server doesn't have
access to our FTP server and the servers available to us that do have
access don't have the necessary software installed.
Bob wrote this program and is now running it from his own server as a
cronjob.
The cronjob was running successfully last week.
The job ran Monday morning. Closing issue.
