When you search for a GP in the directory on Cancer.gov, the name is displayed but when you click on the link to look at the profile, it just displays the default directory intro at the top but not the profile. This issue appears to have started yesterday in the afternoon.
No news yet but I thought it would be a good idea to record some more info we saw at today's status meeting.
To replicate the problem, go to:
http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/genetics/directory
Enter last name "Daly" in the search box and choose Mary Daly. Her full record is displayed.
Enter last name "George" and choose Amy George: No record is displayed.
The CDR IDs are:
George: CDR749639
Daly: CDR4735
Looking at the document publication history, I see that both were last published on July 19, 2013.
Since this has started yesterday it is definitely not a problem of the GP pubishing. Has Blair been notified? It may be a Percussion problem.
That's an excellent suggestion. He's gone home for the day but I'll email him with the details.
According to the Gatekeeper entries Amy Gorge's document has been loaded on 7/13 as part of our first Export job (Job10933) to the new CBIIT environment. The Gatekeeper logs list this document as being loaded successfully.
I wrote a query to find all of the GenProf documents that were pushed to Gatekeepr in Job 10933. There were 293 of them. I'll attach a file with the list and another file with the complementary list, i.e., docs not pushed in that job.
I started checking them. It turns out that every document that I checked in that push job is not displayed on cancer.gov, and every document that I checked that is not on the list does show up in cancer.gov. I checked a total of about 15-20 docs.
So, it appears that Push job 10933 went haywire, possibly at the Gatekeeper end since our records look normal for the job.
Maybe you (Volker) can check the Gatekeeper reports for that job. At any rate, I think we have a smoking gun here.
Actually, reading your (Volker's) last posting again, it looks like you already checked the Gatekeeper logs. So now it looks like the ball is in Blair's court.
I suspect that the problem started on July 13 or 14, but just wasn't noticed until yesterday.
I'll work up a report for Blair.
I've attached two files in PDF format:
GenProfDocsInPushJob10933.pdf has the CDR IDs and names of Genetics Professionals whose documents were published in publishing job 10933.
GenProfDocsNotInPushJob10933.pdf is the list of GenProfs whose docs were not pubulished in that job.
Note: If whatever went wrong in 10933 goes wrong again in tomorrow night's publishing job, there will likely be more people moving from the okay to the disappeared category.
So if anyone wants to check this, it's best to do it before the regular Friday night publishing job.
A filter was missing on Gatekeeper causing all documents recently updated to be dropped from the display. Blair was able to have this filter restored and now everyone is displaying properly again.
The problem has been fixed on the Gatekeeper side by restoring a missing filter.
