As a part of the larger issue of adding audio pronunciations, we would like to request a schema change to the glossary term name (GTN) documents.

As discussed in the last CDR meeting, we plan to store the audio files in media documents and then link the media documents to the GTN documents.

Therefore, we would like to add the MediaLink element to the GTN document. The element should be optional. We would like to add it in two places:

1. In the TermName section, it should fall between the PronunciationResource element and the TermNameSource element.

2. In the TranslatedTermName section, it should fall between the TranslationResource and TranslatedNameStatus elements.

The element should be multiply occurring in the document, since we want to be able to add it for all term name strings, but I do not see a reason we would want to add it more than once for any given term name string.

The schema changes looks fine according to the requirements. But it looks like we need to put in another issue for modification to the CSS.

I'm trying to adjust the CSS for the element but it's not available based on this description.
Did the location for the element change?

No, I think it just didn't get propagated to the DTD; it's there now.

Verified on Bach.

I had to select GTN and Add MediaID to the linking table for it to work.

Closing issue.
