We need to make several small changes to the PDQBoardMemberInfo
schema:
1. Add a date element to the BoardMembershipDetails block called
ResponseDate. It should come right after the ResponseToInvitation
element, and should be optional.
2. Change the AreaOfExpertise element to allow users to enter text
instead of selecting from a list of values. We never developed the list
of values and they would like to be able to use the element without
selecting from a list.
3. Change the element AssistantPhone under BoardMemberAssistant block to
be optional.

Since these haven't been promoted yet, I am adding a couple of additional changes:
1. Please change the name of the element TermEndDate to
TerminationDate.
2. Please change the name of the element TermEndReason to
TerminationReason.

Did you also want the change made to the TermEndDate in the EditorInChief block? And (just to make sure) you're aware that the original names were probably picked to parallel the names for the TermStartDate and TermRenewalFrequency elements, right?

Thanks Bob. The changes look good. When we were going through all of the elements at a meeting yesterday, there were a couple of other small changes that the Board Managers suggested. Should I just add them to this issue, or should I close this issue and put in a new one?

Thanks. Here they are:
1. Please add "International FedEx" as a picklist value for
ContactMode.
2. Please add "On sabbatical" as a picklist value for
TerminationReason.
3. Please add a Comment (mulitiply occurring, optional) to the
BoardMemberContact, SpecificBoardMemberContact, BoardMemberAssistant,
and BoardMembershipDetails blocks.
Hopefully, that is all the changes!

Just for future reference: it's not necessary to reboot to see schema changes. All you need to do is log out of the XMetaL application and then log back in.
