Hi Margaret, Robin,
Attached you'll find generic hotel image options for the Travel feature section of the EBMS home page.
The first set of images are what the final feature zone will look like when Travel is active (minus the watermark and a bit sharper as these are low res stock images until we purchase the high res version).
The second set of attached images are the full images for reference.
Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks for preparing something for us to review. We like the idea of using a generic image that won't need to be updated again, but we're leaning towards doing something even more generic than these hotel shots since a number of our Board members travel here but do not stay overnight. I'm also trying to make sure there isn't too much going on in the lower third of the image since there will be a white bar over the image once we put it into the feature area. Here are a few images that we came up with and thought could work.

Would you be able to mock up the feature section with one or a couple of these images (or something similar)?

Another thought we had was to use a night image of our building - possibly the one found on page 1 of the scrolling content on the home page of http://newcampus.cancer.gov/. That might be too much to fit into such a small area, though?

I've created more comps using the images you sent and one I found on Veer. I'd like to know what you think, particularly of the last one with the man looking out the window of the plane. I think it's the most successful presentation in this space and has more of a human connection than the other images.
I too found images of people walking through airports when I searched for travel, but this one seems to be more interesting, in my opinion.

This issue is on hold pending discussion surrounding a potential redesign of the home page. (see OCEEBMS-169)

This request has been overtaken by OCEEBMS-169, which completely eliminates the feature area of the home pages.

As Bob mentions in the previous comment, this request will no longer be relevant once the changes in 3.0 are promoted, so I am closing this issue.
