With the exception of adding tags upon import, tags can currently only be added to one citation at a time. Users would like to be able to select citations from a list and then add a selected tag (and possibly a comment) to all the selected citations in one action. For example, this may be particularly useful when selecting citations for comprehensive review. Users could search the database, select specific citations from the retrieval list and then add the comprehensive review tag to all that they selected.
We would need to discuss which tags would be used in this way and the possibility of future new tags to be added.
This feature would allow users to create their own sets of citations and label these citations with a tag for easy retrieval of the set.
