I need to see the PDF Bonnie is sending to the printer. The PDFs I get for the cover sheets when I try to reproduce this problem appear to have the correct fonts.

I'm assigning this to you, Volker, since you're handling the related OCEEBMS-518. As noted above, the generated PDF has the right fonts, so you'll need to test on her machine to see what's causing the garbled output at the printer.

I've been able to print a print job from my machine to two different computers and the output for both of the printers shows the odd font display.  There exists an option for the program we're using to print the PDF files which prevents the issue from happening but it would increase the time for sending the print job to the printer significantly (from 1s per document to 5-8s per document).  We'll have to see how much of a problem this would be for an entire printjob.

As discussed at our status meeting I have setup Bonnie's machine to print with the "-shell" option instead of using the "-embeddedfont" option and she was able to correctly print the package. The delay in printing doesn't seem to be a large disadvantage because there aren't too many packages that still need to be printed.  For the moment this seems to be working for everyone.

Yes Bob asked me that a couple weeks ago and I was printing for Victoria so they were fine then.  I might be printing her some today (haven’t heard back yet for sure).  I guess Bob didn’t update JIRA?  I actually don’t think I heard anything back from him after I sent in the ok. There was one glitch that the job # was the same as  QA job# so it would print the qa job even though the report run was correct the live was the QA. After I got past the last QA job # everything ran fine and fortunately the QA number was only a couple numbers away from being able to run prod jobs-if that makes any sense to you.  Short version-they worked  finally.  I did tell Bob about that too when I emailed him back.
