We should review the appearance of the citations on various reports, search, literature pages, etc. to determine how many different views we really need and whether this can be standardized further. We know we won't be able to have a single view across all pages (e.g., display of all authors vs. a partial author list), but there may be room for improvement.
Have any further thoughts on this?
To get the ball rolling with this ticket, I made a spreadsheet of all the "Citation Appearance" examples in the EBMS that I knew of...keep in mind I am not as familiar with the board manager or member pages so others will need to add in anything I missed. I have listed the page and the citation data displayed on each page. The pages are grouped by similarity of function to further assist in the development of standardization. At a glance so far, you can see that we are not too inconsistent as pages with similar function have mostly the same data displayed. Citation Data Displayed in EBMS.xlsx
Thanks, this is an excellent start.
