The Keyword filter parameter on the Documents report doesn't appear to be doing anything.
Can you tell me what the report should be doing? I haven't been able to track down anything in the requirements that says what to do with this field, and there's nothing in the interface for posting documents which allows the poster to assign keywords to the posted document.
I just found this in the Document report specifications from April 2012: "Option to enter keyword for title."
I'm not sure if we intended for the keyword to search on the file name or the EBMS name (display name) of the uploaded document.
However, since this is not working and may not have everâť“ worked, it must not be used very often. Let me check with the other Board managers to see if we need it or if we can just remove it.
Sounds good. My memory of the topic is old and fuzzy, but what I recall is that we put it on the form because the requirements (and Ashleigh's mockups) said to, but the requirements didn't say how to use it, so we said we'd deal with that problem down the road, and it just fell through the cracks.
We've decided we don't need the keyword search on the Documents report, so the field can be removed. I'll revise the title of this issue to reflect that we are removing the field. Thanks.
Field removed.
