I received an error error message when deleting an ad-hoc group (on QA). I will upload a screenshot.
I'm not sure what the message indicates, but if it is not feasible to delete an ad-hoc group that has meetings and other items associated with it (that's what I was testing), we should revise the pop-up message that appears when you go to delete the group.
I think if you remove the members of the group you'll be able to delete it. The software should do that for you, of course, but I guess this never got tested.
It appears the software did remove all of the members, but it still won't allow me to delete the group.
This is not pressing - I'm just working on our user manual. We can investigate and remedy the issue in the next release. Thanks!
Which group? When we say "members" we're referring both to individuals and to boards.
It was the Clinical Sequencing WG. It seems the Board association was the sticking point.
I just deleted the group by (1) removing the Board association; (2) adding one member [it wouldn't let me save the Board change otherwise]; and (3) deleting the group.
Fixed on DEV.
Verified on QA.
I have not had an occasion to test this on PROD yet; closing issue and will reopen if we have problems.
