The number of documents that appear in the list of documents that match whatever string we enter is currently limited to 10. Would it be possible to expand this (with a scroll bar) to view all available documents that match the entered string?
Expanded limit from 10 to 100 after discussion with Robin. Ready for user testing on DEV.
Will involve a manual step for CBIIT, using https://ebms.nci.nih.gov/admin/config/content/ckeditor_link
Better solution, using drush:
drush vset --yes ckeditor_link_limit 100
This is a small thing, but I'm unable to view the last item in the dropdown list that pops up with the list of documents because it is obstructed by my task bar (I will post a screen shot). Moving the task bar (if it is unlocked) solves the problem, but is there a way to make the popup box a bit smaller?
This screenshot is cut off at the same place where my taskbar appears, so the last item cannot be seen.
I'm pretty sure I can make the picklist widget shorter, but did you realize you can move the entire dialog box?
Another tip: you don't have to start typing at the beginning of the string you're trying to match. IN the case of the documents with titles beginning "Genetics of Skin Cancer ..." you're more likely to have what you're looking for near to the top of the picklist if you start with "of skin cancer ..." instead of "Genetics ...."
Thanks for both tips. I didn't realize we could move the entire dialog box, but that's good to know. I think that solves the problem, so I'll consider this verified on DEV.
Verified on QA.
Verified on prod.
