When the citation tag “Import Special Search” is applied upon import the tag needs to be applied to ALL citations imported regardless of whether the citation is a duplicate or not. We imported the results of a special search and applied this tag. The tag was only added to 2 of the 18 citations. 16 of the citations were already in the database for the same topic. Even though these 16 citations were true duplicates the citations need to be identified as being part of this special search request …which is why we came up with the idea of a citation tag “Import Special Search”.

Juthe, Robin (NIH/NCI) [E]No presence information (3/27/2013 10:29 AM): This still appears to only apply the "import special search" and "import fast track" tags to articles that are new to the database OR have a new topic added to the citation. Articles coming up in a special search are often already in the database for the same topic, so the "import special search" tag should be added to the citation for that topic even though it is a duplicate.

The picklist for tags has been replaced by a "SPECIAL SEARCH" checkbox, since the fast-track tag is now controlled automatically by the "FAST TRACK" checkbox, and the other article tag types are not relevant to the import process. Ready for testing on QA.
