Description

It looks like the image side by side QC report fails to display some of the content. For example, there is a missing content description for  CDR0000739009. Also there is missing information for CDR0000770315

the image side by side QC report fails to display some of the content

Just to be clear about the description:  The report fails to display some of the content for some of the documents, right?  Or is this a problem affecting all documents?

It is difficult to say for all documents but I looked at about 6 different documents and it looks like in all cases, they were missing the content description.

I have a hard time to believe that the description never showed, especially since we're displaying its header.  We would have noticed this during our tests.  In case you come across a sample for which the description is displayed please add a comment with the CDR-ID.

I will investigate.

I'm getting some clues that //@audience was added to the query term definitions at some point, but the Media documents didn't get reindexed after that change was made. I just reindexed CDR739009 and the missing /Media/MediaContent/ContentDescriptions/ContentDescription/@audience query_term row showed up (as did the missing content description for the English document). I think if you reindex the Media documents, this problem will disappear.

Great clue!  I'll double-check the original ticket to see where I dropped the re-index ball.

I wrote a "Note to myself" indicating that we need to re-index due to the added @audience and @language attribute to the query term definition table. It would help if I read the notes to myself, too. 😉

Just in case you're still looking for this information. This document

CDR0000804121 brings up both the Caption and Content description. It is a relatively new one.

Thanks!  That makes sense.  The new documents have been saved after the query_term definitions have been updated.  Therefore it had been indexed with the latest save.  All documents last saved before the audience and language attributes had been added will display that issue.

I'm going to reindex PROD over night since it's taking a while to finish.

The Media documents have been reindexed on the three CDR servers that needed it.

Please verify that the reports are now working on PROD and close this ticket.
