Please modify the translation workflow spreadsheets to make the filename and Reuse Media ID columns read-only. We hope this will prevent the errors encountered during the import run for OCECDR-4863 (unable to find home for). The filename c_olumn stays the same throughout the process so there will not be the need to update it. The Reuse Media ID_ on the hand would not be updated throughout the process when OCECDR-4875 is implemented.
The proposed change would not prevent the errors you're referring to, because those were caused by extra spaces in the term name column.
A more effective way to avoid those errors would be to strip leading and trailing spaces from the term name in the code that's looking for the location of the new link. That would avoid more problems than locking cells would. And it would be much more straightforward to implement.
Okay. Thanks! I missed that.
This approach is okay with me. Thanks!
We decided last Thursday to move this ticket to Maxwell.
Leading and trailing whitespace is now stripped in the comparison made when finding the matching name block in the glossary term name document.
Verified on DEV. Thanks!
Verified on QA. Thanks!
Closing this ticket. Will report if we run into this problem again. Thanks!
