Description

When a Drug information summary links to a drug's definition, it should use links of the form https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-drug/def/<CDRID>

e.g. https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-drug/def/42117

At present, they are still using the form https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-drug?CdrID=<CDRID>

e.g. https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-drug?CdrID=42117

This style will not be supported in the new drug dictionary application.

Assigning to you, Volker, on the assumption that this is an export filter change.

The filter creating the listed URL has been updated and a single document has been hot-fixed as a test:

https://www-cms-dev.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/drugs/bevacizumab

I'm actually not clear if PROD already handles the "modern style links" and if I can go ahead to move this change up the tiers.

All DIS documents have been updated on the DEV server:

The following filter has been modified:

I ran a diff report for all DIS documents on QA.  There were only the expected changes of the URL.

If it's OK with and  I will run a publishing job for the full set of DIS in order to have all URLs updated at once.

Sounds good to me!

I was reviewing the results of that job, and I noticed that all of the DIS documents with dangling draft revisions (there were 127 of them) had that problem fixed by the job. 😃
