The recipient's address is missing in each of the correspondence mailers we've tested so far (both Editorial and Advisory Board mailers).
The address is missing from the letter itself and the response form (when applicable).
Excellent! I knew I'd get some good testing from you guys! I see that all of the bug reports for Gauss have the same priority, so I'll just mash through them in order. Be sure to use the Priority and/or Severity field(s) to bring to the top of the pile those issues which need to get taken care of first, because they're preventing other testing.
I just ran a mailer and I see the recipient's name at the top (see attachment). I'm going to guess that the problem got fixed in the process of addressing another ticket. Please verify.
Her name is there but her address block (which should appear beneath her name) is still missing.
Ah, yes. Sorry about that. Turned out to be a very subtle but pervasive bug. I believe I've got it now. Fresh mailer attached.
The address is still missing for Keith Block. His record is a bit different in that the address is stored in an associated org record rather than the person record. See mailer job 15333. The address is missing on both the first and second pages of the mailer. Thanks.
Have bandwidth for another non-standard-filter problem, ~volker?
~juther, would you be able to show me how to run this on QA for testing? I'm not very familiar with the mailers.
Sure. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to OCCM Board Managers in the Admin Menu and select PDQ Board
Member Correspondence Mailers.
2. Select the PDQ Integrative, Alternative, and Complementary Therapies
Editorial Board from the first dropdown.
3. Select the Editorial Board Invitation Letter. (Really you could
choose any letter)
4. Select Keith Block and submit.
5. Wait for the email indicating that your mailer is ready. Open the
mailer to view it. (It will be an .rtf file) You will see that Keith
Block's address is missing.
**Note: You will probably have to ask Bob to manually run the mailer – I think he disabled them temporarily.
That task is running again.
The problem has been fixed on QA. I have not versioned the changes in Gauss yet but I'd like you to take a look first, ~juther, before I consider this done.
I tried running a mailer and the system is telling me it was processed successfully (and completed over 10 min. ago) but I haven't received an email.

I completed another mailer successfully (15444) for the invitation letter and got an email. Keith Block's address looked good.
However, when I went back and tried to run the renewal letter again (as I had done for job 15443), I got a python script error.
A problem occurred in a Python script.
D:\cdr\Log\tmpuanith.html contains the description of this error.
Could you give it another shot and let me know what happens?

It's possible that the NIH mail server is up to its usual tricks, and you may get the email message eventually.
I received the email of this JIRA ticket just now, at 10:50 which was
created at 10:07.
I'm agreeing with Bob, it's probably a NIH mail delay.
I submitted another renewal mailer (15446) and it worked fine. Address looks good. Thanks!
Volker, I just moved this to QA verified but not sure if you wanted me to do that if you still need to version the changes. Sorry if I got ahead of things!
That's fine. In fact, thank you for reminding me!
The following filter has been updated in gauss:
CDR000052: Person Address Fragment With Name
