We would like to add an element to the summary schema for the PMID now that the summaries are available in PubMed. This new element should appear in the metadata, perhaps at the bottom of the metadata block.
New element installed on DEV.
I see the element (on DEV), but I think we need some CSS to fix the formatting. We should also talk about how these PMIDs will be populated. (We're hoping to do the initial population programmatically.)
Why don't you give us your thoughts in this afternoon's status meeting?
As we discussed in today's meeting, ~MBeckwit will ask Hilda if she can provide a spreadsheet of the PDQ summaries and corresponding PMIDs. We'll then use that to globally populate the new PMID element. We'll want to coordinate this with other Darwin updates that require publishing all of the summaries.
Verified on QA. The global will be handled in IT-2 (OCECDR-4048).
Verified on PROD.
