The Glossary Term and Variant Search Report currently allows for searching by the Spanish term name (using % at the beginning of the term name field), but the results that come up are all documents that contain the English term name as opposed to the Spanish term name.
From the status meeting:
remove the "patient abstract" checkbox
pull out all of the names from the selected document, and look for the English names in English summaries, Spanish names in the Spanish summaries
separate the report into English and Spanish summaries
This report is mostly used by the Patient [English] summaries team and they do use it on a regular basis, and it seems to work very well for identifying terms/phrases that need to be reviewed or modified. However, the Spanish team rarely or almost never use it. So, we may want to take this into consideration in deciding to fix the problem or not.
Decided not to do this, in light of William's information.
Can we take this out of Darwin since this is marked "Won't Fix" (and closed)?
Done.
