The gender element in the DTD for the CTGovProtocols is a mandatory field. According to Bob, the schema has the gender field optional. This is causing validation errors during publishing and we want to make the gender field optional in the DTD as well.
I've worked with Aarti and identified that the Gatekeeper code will be happy regardless if it sees the Gender element or not. I've updated the DTD on DEV and BLUE and successfully published a CTGovProtocol to Cancer.gov without the element.
We have an additional change to the Cancer.gov DTD. This is related to the request OCEPROJECT-3490 to add a url attribute to the RelatedDrugSummaryRef and RelatedSummaryRef elements.
We will still need to decide if this new attribute should be removed from the partner output. Since this is information that allows improved processing on Gatekeeper I would think the additional information should not be included.
The following files have been updated in subversion:
R13466: pdq.dtd
R13466: pdqCG.dtd
The push to Gatekeeper QA ran successfully with the new elements confirming that the new DTD is in place.
The two DTD files have been copied to the CDR production server as part of the WCMS Feline release.
Closing ticket.
